Our Growth Mindset

We are working hard to develop our Growth Mindset.

We use practical classroom activities that will develop:

pupil resilience

meta-cognition
persistence
intellectual risk-taking
Grit

In 2017-2018 each classroom displayed a 'Learning Pit' to promote challenge, dialogue and growth mindset. We will continue this in 2018-2019.

In 2018 -2019 we will focus on our use of language and challenge to further develop a growth mindset.

Each classroom has a Growth Mindset 'big book' that will record pupil voice, challenge and activities. Two mentors from each class meet with Miss Waller, weekly, during an assembly to feedback activities form their class.
