We will, as our pupils are growing and learning with us, care for, support and safeguard them whilst striving to encourage them to be responsible citizens and do the same for each other and their wider community.

We will strive to ignite our pupils’ desire and enthusiasm to learn without limits.

We will aim to encourage our pupils and school community to develop academically and socially which will develop their desire to explore the wider world, skilled and equipped to find out even more.

We will foster belief through believing in yourself, taking on challenges and digging deep within yourself to conquer fears.

Funfactor September 2020

Introducing the new Schoolgateway booking and payment system from September 2020

Funfactor would like to welcome you all back after such a long time away from school.

We want you to know that Funfactor will be opening in September 2020 for both Breakfast Club and After School Club for all year groups within school. For this to happen we have put in place a ranger of different precautions to keep your children and our staff safe, following Government guidelines.

Below are the changes we have made and extra precautions we have put in place:

  • Handwashing will happen regularly throughout the sessions, when children arrive, before and after meals or snacks and before home time.

  • Children will follow a one way system to the toilets. There will be a maximum of three children in the bathrooms at any one time.

  • Children will be separated into ‘year group pods’ to follow the pod system within school.

  • Each member of staff will be allocated a year group pod that they will stay with; the member of staff for your child’s pod will oversee the children’s transition back into Funfactor.

  • Outdoor play will be encouraged and utilised where possible. The children do need their coats and as the weather changes, gloves and hats.

  • There will be a range of indoor activities for the children to access that will be sanitized at the end of each session as per the Parkroyal risk assessment.  The children will be provided with a cold buffet style meal at around 4:15pm;this will be delivered to their year group station pod. All tables will be sanitized before and after meals.

  • Children must be collected by5:45pm;this is to leave time to properly sanitize the area and equipment ready for the next school day

  • The collection point will be the usual gate, next to the school office. A staff member will collect your child/ren with their belongings and escort them to you at the gate. Please do not enter the building. Collection may take slightly longer than usual as the children will be washing their hands before leaving school. A member of staff will sign your child out for you.
