Flourish

We will aim to encourage our pupils and school community to develop academically and socially which will develop their desire to explore the wider world, skilled and equipped to find out even more.

Believe

Funfactor September 2023

Schoolgateway booking and payment system from September 2023

Funfactor would like to welcome you all back after a lovely Summer break.

We want you to know that Funfactor will be opening in September 2022 for both Breakfast Club and After School Club for all year groups within school. We understand a lot of changes happened last year for this to happen and some of the extra precautions will be staying and some have been slightly altered now we are in the next stage.

Below are the extra precautions we are keeping and the changes that we have put in place for September 2022/2023:

  • Handwashing will happen regularly throughout the sessions, before and after meals or snacks and before home time.
  • Children will be separated into ‘Phase pods’ (this is slightly different to last year which means your child will be mixing more with other year groups).
  • Each member of staff will be allocated a phase pod that they will stay with; the member of staff for your child’s pod will oversee the children’s transition back into Funfactor.
  • Outdoor play will be encouraged and utilised where possible. The children do need their coats and as the weather changes, gloves and hats.
  • There will be a range of indoor activities for the children to access that will be sanitized at the end of each session as per the Parkroyal risk assessment.
  • The children will be provided with an option of either a cold or warm buffet style meal at around 4:15pm. All tables will be sanitized before and after meals. A 3 week menu is available on the school website.
  • Children must be collected by 6:00pm. (Any late pickups will occur a £5.00 charge every 15 minutes)
  • The collection point will be the usual gate, next to the school office. A staff member will collect your child/ren with their belongings and escort them to you at the gate. Please do not enter the building. Collection may take slightly longer than usual as the children will be washing their hands before leaving school. A member of staff will sign your child out for you.
