Nurture

We will, as our pupils are growing and learning with us, care for, support and safeguard them whilst striving to encourage them to be responsible citizens and do the same for each other and their wider community.

Inspire

We will strive to ignite our pupils’ desire and enthusiasm to learn without limits.

Flourish

We will aim to encourage our pupils and school community to develop academically and socially which will develop their desire to explore the wider world, skilled and equipped to find out even more.

Believe

We will foster belief through believing in yourself, taking on challenges and digging deep within yourself to conquer fears.

Digital Leaders

Our Digital Leaders team brings together two children from each of our Phase 2 and 3 classes.

Our team supports the teaching staff in looking after and managing our computing resources, and promotes a message of working and playing online in a safe manner.

Safer Internet Day 2022

On Tuesday 8th February, Parkroyal marked Safer Internet Day 2022 with an assembly for Phase 2 and 3 children. Some of the Online Safety Leaders participated to share six important messages with the children to encourage safe behaviour whilst online. These messages will become commonplace around school as our children grow up in an ever-more connected world

  • Use a strong and secure password
  • Report anything that worries you
  • Don’t share personal details
  • Think before you post
  • Never arrange to meet
  • Make sure parents know what you access

Our Online Safety Leaders helped to create slides which they then presented to the school during the assembly. The slides can be found on by clicking here. In class, the children shared their ideas about showing respect online.

We would like to share with you advice from the UK Chief Medical Officer on screentime and social media which you may find helps you to manage your child’s experience online.

In response to our assembly, the children in Year 3 created a 'recipe' for respectful online relationships. We hope that all children will have a go at cooking this recipe....it looks nourishing and delicious.
