Hello and welcome to the Friends of Parkroyal – PTA for Parkroyal Community School!
The Friends of Parkroyal are an enthusiastic, friendly group of parents and carers, who meet regularly throughout the year. They organise social and fundraising events, which are an enjoyable way of meeting other members of the school community and raising much needed funds.
Each year has a Friends representative, who liaises between parents, staff and the committee. They form an approachable link to the school, keeping parents up to date with key events and opportunities to help.
All parents and carers are encouraged to join in and we want everyone to feel a valuable part of the school, to enjoy our children's school years and to make good friends of our own.

What do the school get from the PTA?
Our main purpose is to raise money and how that money is spent changes each year. Last year the money raised by the PTA helped to:
- Improve the outdoor space by putting up a climbing wall and ball shoot
- Purchase a TV and mobile stand
- Buy new reference books for the children
How you can get involved
- Come to one of our meetings. Everyone is welcome and we are a friendly bunch.
- Help out. We're going to be asking for your help at our various events – so if you can spare an hour here or there, we'd really appreciate it. The more people who are happy to pitch in and help, the less of a chore it will be.
- Join in. If you haven’t much time, just joining in is enough. To make the events a success we need people to turn up, spend a pound or two and have fun!
