Special Dietary Requirements

Cultural and religious diets
Many people follow diets related to their culture or religious beliefs and the school will make every effort to provide meals for all children. Parents should inform the school if there are specific foods their child cannot eat due to cultural and religious beliefs. This will ensure we identify that every child receives the correct meal, particularly as many of these children are very young and eating school meals for the first time.

Medical Diets

Medical diets are a very important part of catering provision in schools. Allergen procedures are essential to ensure the needs of individual pupils who have medically identified allergens, are safely met.

If your child has a medically backed allergen which means they are unable to eat certain foods offered on our menu, you must ensure you have completed an online Medical Dietary Request form (via the link below) and a Medical Dietary Needs Menu form (either download a copy from the link below or contact the school office for a paper copy). The menu form must be completed to confirm which foods your child CAN eat from our menu due to their allergen.
