We will, as our pupils are growing and learning with us, care for, support and safeguard them whilst striving to encourage them to be responsible citizens and do the same for each other and their wider community.
We will strive to ignite our pupils’ desire and enthusiasm to learn without limits.
We will aim to encourage our pupils and school community to develop academically and socially which will develop their desire to explore the wider world, skilled and equipped to find out even more.
We will foster belief through believing in yourself, taking on challenges and digging deep within yourself to conquer fears.
The Parkroyal Community School Parents’ Forum is a new initiative intended to provide an avenue for communication between parents and school through the exchange of ideas, opinions and information on aspects of school life that affect all children. Any individual or personal issues should always be brought to the attention of the class teacher or Mrs Beaumont directly.
All parents/carers/teachers are welcome to attend the meetings, which take place once per term and alternate between morning, afternoon and evening. Our first meeting of the year represents a great opportunity for parents new to the school to meet, share views and to feel reassured by other parents/carers who have older children at school.
The Parents Forum is hosted by the Chair of the School's Local Academy Committee (Governors) in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team (Headteacher and Deputy Head) and run on an agenda basis. If you have a topic that you would like to be discussed at the next meeting, please email (here) or post a letter marked ‘Parents’ Forum’ in the postbox in the school office. Please note that we can only consider items for the Agenda if you include your full name and contact details on all correspondence. The agenda will be shared before each meeting, and the minutes from those meetings will be posted below so that everyone can see the items that will or have been discussed. You can submit items for the agenda even if you are not able to attend the meeting.
Our next Parents Forum will be held at 2.00pm on Wednesday 29th January 2020.
