Pupils attend school for 38 weeks from a possible 52. This leaves 14 weeks for family holidays and outings. Please therefore ensure that all family holidays are booked outside of the school term dates.
Requests for leave of absence during term time should be made to the headteacher at least one month before the first day of absence required. Permission for leave will only be agreed in exceptional circumstances. If your child is absent without permission, this will be considered unauthorised and will be reported so.
