We will, as our pupils are growing and learning with us, care for, support and safeguard them whilst striving to encourage them to be responsible citizens and do the same for each other and their wider community.
We will strive to ignite our pupils’ desire and enthusiasm to learn without limits.
We will aim to encourage our pupils and school community to develop academically and socially which will develop their desire to explore the wider world, skilled and equipped to find out even more.
We will foster belief through believing in yourself, taking on challenges and digging deep within yourself to conquer fears.
Pupils attend school for 38 weeks from a possible 52. This leaves 14 weeks for family holidays and outings. Please therefore ensure that all family holidays are booked outside of the school term dates.
Requests for leave of absence during term time should be made to the headteacher at least one month before the first day of absence required. Permission for leave will only be agreed in exceptional circumstances. If your child is absent without permission, this will be considered unauthorised and will be reported so. This may lead to a fixed penalty fine of £60 per child per parent rising to £120 if not paid within 28 days.
